Mawarid recognizes the importance of
cultural heritage for current and future
generations. Assessment and identification
of heritage sites by archaeological
surveying is undertaken prior to
commencement of operations. Ongoing
monitoring during operations is also
undertaken in case there is buried material
that surface surveys were unable to
identify. Consultation and cooperation with
relevant government departments provides
protection and preservation of heritage
sites.
